ELECOM to launch DESIGN HEADPHONE STORE in 12 models
Ear-canal headphones roll out from the Graphic Artist

In early May, ELECOM CO., LTD. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Osaka; President: Junji Hada) will launch DESIGN HEADPHONE STORE ear-canal headphones in 12 models. This headphone series rolls out from the Graphic Artist Collaboration Project, in which ELECOM works with two famous design studios that have produced a number of excellent graphic designs, to give you the fun of choosing your favorite version just as you would a fashion item.
ELECOM is committed to offering design-oriented headphones, ranging from jewel type stereo headphones for women to stylish headphones that can be coordinated with users' fashion style. It is noteworthy that these products have enjoyed immense popularity among consumers.
Now, DESIGN HEADPHONE STORE, a design-oriented headphones series targeting a broader spectrum of consumers, rolls out from the Graphic Artist Collaboration Project. Indeed, this headphone series is a brainchild derived from a collaboration between ELECOM and artists of POWER GRAPHIXX and Rotterdam's doing., the design studios that have produced a number of excellent graphic designs.
DESIGN HEADPHONE STORE is the ear-canal headphone series that gives you the fun of choosing your own favorite version like a T-shirt and other fashion items. Thanks to artists from two design studios, you can choose from 12 unique designs to suit your taste, or to coordinate with your portable audio player (including iPod) or fashion style. The design plates are slightly tilted forward to show the designs from the front when you wear the headphones.
The "ear-canal" headphones achieve excellent sound insulating performance and fitting comfort. The inner-ear design does not mess up your hairstyle. The Φ9 mm driver unit reproduces well-balanced natural sound between the high- to low-frequency ranges. The headphones show no notable fatigue even after many hours of use, thus enabling you to enjoy listening to music every day with comfort. Meanwhile, the triangular plug enhances its detachability. The package includes earphone caps in 3 sizes (S/M/L) selectable to maximize fitting comfort.
