Laser Mice to Be Released at Affordable Prices!

ELECOM CO., LTD. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Osaka; President: Junji Hada) will release two models of laser mice in early March: the M-LS5UL series (a 5-button laser mouse) and the M-LS4ULseries (a standard 3-button laser mouse). Laser mice featuring a high-precision sensor are now available at affordable prices.
Both the M-LS4UL and M-LS5UL series incorporate the latest laser sensor for detecting mouse movement. Compared with conventional LED optical mice, these new models achieve a higher recognition rate in low-contrast situations. Specifically, conventional LED optical sensors are accompanied by problems such as "cursor jump" occurring on a small- and repetitive-patterned surface, a pattern-less transparent surface, or a glossy surface, due to the sensors' failure to recognize the pattern or unevenness of the surface. Meanwhile, laser sensors achieve extremely high precision even when a mouse pad is not available (outside home/office, etc.) or on a glossy table, enabling you to move the cursor smoothly without stress. The laser sensor conforms to the safety level for the Class 1 Invisible Beam standard, stipulated in JIS C 6802-1 and IEC 60825-1 specified by the International Electrotechnical Commission. These mice can be used without any concerns in ordinary applications.
Both series are equipped with a center wheel that guarantees smooth rotation and solid clicking. You can scroll the screen with slick control. In addition to the symmetric style, these laser mice are characterized by short, easy-to-hold design, which reduces hand fatigue over many hours of use and achieves comfortable operability. These laser mice meet a broad scope of needs, regardless of users' age, gender, or place of use (home/office, etc.).
The M-LS4UL series is a standard 3-button laser mouse, perfectly suited for consumers who need basic functions only. The M-LS5UL series is a 5-button laser mouse, based on the M-LS4UL series, that is equipped with additional Forward and Back buttons for web browsing. The laser sensor's precision and smooth tracking with five buttons ensure comfortable net surfing experience.
Our laser mice are available in six colors of silver, black, blue, red, pink, and white, suiting colorful PCs on the market in recent years. You can enjoy color coordination, choosing the same color as your PC, or your favorite color. These laser mice eliminate the inconvenience of installing a dedicated driver, and readily work by a simple connection to a PC's USB port. Though equipped with a laser sensor, these series are available at affordable prices, making them recommendable options if you are not satisfied with the performance of an LED optical mouse or are considering replacement of your mouse to upgrade its functions. |
