5th collaboration product with design office nendo!

ELECOM to release smartphone/tablet PC stand,

uniquely designed in the form of a faucet


In early August, ELECOM CO., LTD. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Osaka; President: Junji Hada) will release the convenient "JAGUCHI" stand for holding smartphones and tablet (slate) PCs. This is the fifth line in a series of products developed in collaboration with Japanese design office nendo, based in Tokyo and Milan, which has been active in a wide variety of design fields.

ELECOM, known for its ability to focus on both function and design of products, is launching the fifth line of attractive products developed in collaboration with nendo, a design office highly acclaimed worldwide. Established in 2002 by Mr. Oki Sato and others, nendo has received numerous design awards, and plays an active role globally in many design fields. Furthermore, Newsweek magazine named Mr. Sato one of the "100 Most Respected Japanese" and selected the office as one of the "Top 100 Small Japanese Companies." These are only a few examples showing how highly nendo is regarded around the world.

The fifth collaborative product with nendo is a smartphone/tablet PC stand, JAGUCHI, featuring a unique design resembling a faucet.
The JAGUCHI stand has been designed to depict water flowing out of a faucet. The stand holds your smartphone or tablet, using top and bottom sections resembling, respectively, a faucet and rippling water. Furthermore, this unique design is especially enjoyable when not in use. When placed on a table, the stand creates the unreal scene of a faucet floating in the air. When placed, for example, against a wall or PC, it looks as though water is flowing out of the wall or PC.
Available in two sizes for smartphones and tablets.

For tablets, the product comes in two colors: Clear and Blue, as crystal clear as the fresh water flowing out of the faucet. For smartphones, the stand is available in four colors: Clear, Blue and two additional colors, Black and milky White.
