(Head office: Chuo-ku, Osaka, Japan; President: Junji Hada) will release two types of 7-button gaming mice starting in the middle of January that will be equipped with a high performance laser sensor for accurate tracking even with the most intense mouse movement, as well as a multitude of functionality.
These two new multifunction 7-button gaming mice are equipped with high performance laser sensors that provide accurate tracking even with intense mouse movement, and are geared for PC games, such as FPS first person shooters. They also have on-board memory that allows five button settings, four DPI settings, and custom macros to be saved on the mouse itself. This lets you use the mouse and keep all of your settings -- even on another PC that does not have the drivers installed. Horizontal and vertical DPI can be adjusted separately, and detailed setup is possible not just through the driver utility, but the mouse itself. By using the driver utility, each of the seven buttons and tilt wheel can be customized to your liking, and you can assign your own macros. The mouse also features five different colors of illumination, which helps you know which mode you are currently using.
The “M-H1ULBK” model is wired and uses gold-plated connectors to minimize signal degradation. The “M-H2DLBK” model supports wired and wireless modes, and can be changed by simply plugging/unplugging the cable. The “M-H1ULBK” supports a maximum tracking speed of 150 inches/sec (3.80m), and a maximum acceleration of 30G. The “M-H2DLBK” is a high spec model, supporting a tracking speed of 150 inches/sec (3.80m) and a maximum acceleration of 50G. Either model gives accurate response even with fast movement, so the cursor responds as you expect it to.
In addition, the wired/wireless “M-H2DLBK” model can operate two different
PCs by using the included cable on one and receiver on the other. It utilizes
the 2.4GHz/GFSK wireless standard for strong resistance to noise. This
also allows for usable distances up to 8m when used on non-magnetic objects,
and 2.5m for magnetic ones, such as steel desks. It is equipped with a
lithium ion battery that can be recharged approximately 500 times, and
has a power switch included on its back side in order to prevent battery
consumption when the mouse is not in use.
The mouse soles on both models use a slick fluorine resin for smooth movement, and the package includes a spare. The left and right mouse buttons use proven OMRON-made switches, providing highly reliable durability and a solid click sensation. They also use a rubber grip that feels good and solid in your hand and prevents slipping, making the mouse comfortable to use. Plus, for those who demand durability, the mice utilize a ferrite core that absorbs high frequency noise, and use a mesh cable that helps prevent breakage. |
