ELECOM CO., LTD. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Osaka, Japan; President: Junji
Hada) will be releasing a memory card reader that can be connected to a
USB host-capable smartphone or tablet PC in order to read all types of
memory cards. at the end of January.
The “MRS-MB01BK” is capable of reading data from all types of memory cards using a USB micro-B equipped smartphone/tablet PC that has USB host capability. It can of course also be used as an intermediary to exchange data between a PC/many digital devices and a smartphone/tablet PC.
And it isn't just smartphones and tablet PCs. It can also read small media formats without an adapter, such as microSD and microSDHC that are used in many mobile phones. Plus, it can read "SDXC", the higher standard of SD and SDHC cards, along with 38 other kinds of formats - all without an adapter. Using an adapter adds six usable types of media to its compatibility list.
The USB cable is attached to the unit, so you never have to worry about forgetting or losing it. It also utilizes USB bus power, eliminating the need for AC power, not to mention it does not require any proprietary drivers, letting you simply connect and use. It is also equipped with a lamp for easy confirmation of when the media is being accessed. |
