ELECOM CO., LTD. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Osaka, Japan; President: Junji Hada) will launch a new 3-button wireless Blue LED mouse at the end of April, featuring a built-in Blue LED sensor with excellent tracking capability, and a compact and lightweight design that prevents your hands from becoming tired.
This new mouse features a built-in Blue LED sensor with excellent tracking functionality. Compared to the red light used in traditional optical mice, the blue light of the Blue LED has a shorter wavelength and therefore is capable of making much more accurate readings. It is able to reflect light accurately even on dusty or slightly uneven surfaces. It can be used comfortably anywhere, including on surfaces where traditional optical mice have shown poor performance such as carpets, glass or other transparent surfaces. (*)
* Reduced tracking capability may be observed on glass surfaces that are completely flat or fully transparent.
The new “M-BL5DB Series” has a built-in Blue LED that allows you to use the mouse comfortably anywhere, featuring a compact, lightweight design that prevents your hand from becoming tired. Weighing a mere 50g, this mouse can be used with simple, gentle movements. It has been designed to be responsive to gentle touches, preventing your hand from becoming tired; highly recommended for people who use mice for prolonged hours, women with small hands, and even small children.
Designed in line with their image of being gentle on your hands, this series offers a range of 6 different, soft and pale colors. They will add a gentle, pale coloring to your desk, bringing peace to your heart within those busy times of the day.
Its wireless system operates on the 2.4GHz band which reduces noise interference; it can be used comfortably on non-magnetic surfaces up to a distance of approximately 10m, and even on magnetic surfaces, such as steel desks, up to approximately 3m (based on in-house testing). The mouse can be used smoothly in a variety of environments with its resolution of 1000 dpi.
Its ultra compact receiver is the size of 1 yen coin, and can be left plugged into your notebook PC’s USB port and carried around without worrying about it getting in the way. The receiver can also be stored within the base of the mouse when not in use.
Additionally, the mouse provides other useful features such as a power switch at the base of the mouse so it can be turned on/off, and a battery level indicator that notifies you when the batteries need changing.
