Starting at the beginning of April, ELECOM CO., LTD. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Osaka, Japan; President: Junji Hada) will release two new types of all-purpose cases for storing tablet PCs or Slate PCs from all makers. One type is designed so that the PC and stored accessories can be separated, and the other is a "ZEROSHOCK case" meaning it has excellent shock-absorbing capabilities.
The TB-COIB series of all-purpose tablet PC cases can be separated to divide the PC from stored accessories, letting you keep your tablet PC and belongings together while protecting from external impact when being carried around. When using it as an inner case for your favorite bag, you can keep your PC-related items separate from other accessories, keeping your bag's contents neatly organized. The case is constructed with a fastener that separates the tablet PC storing portion from the accessory storing portion, which can hold an AC adapter, touchpen, mobile router, or a number of other items. There is also a handle attached to the PC storing portion, so it can be easily taken out when needed. And because just the PC itself, or just the PC/accessory portion can be taken out of your bag, it's convenient to take with you even when you don't have far to go.
The PC portion uses a semi-hard core to protect your tablet PC's LCD and case from shock and pressure, and the interior uses soft cushioning materials to absorb shock.

| The TB-ZSBIBH series of all-purpose, highly popular ZEROSHOCK tablet PC cases are slim and have excellent shock-absorbing capabilities. They use low-rebound polyurethane (low-rebound wave foam) that has a concave-convex shape, and are thick enough to securely absorb external impact and shock, yet are small in size and light-weight. They also feature a double-layer semi-hard core, protecting the tablet PC'S LCD and case from pressure or impact. To protect the tablet PC and contents from scratches, the case interior uses velvet fabric. The exterior uses matte materials to repel water and give a feeling of high class, so the case not only protects your tablet PC from impact, but also from a number of other problems that may come up in your day-to-day routine. There is also a handle attached, so even if the case is stored away in your bag, it's easy to take out and convenient to carry with you even if you're not traveling far.
