ELECOM CO., LTD. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Osaka, Japan; President: Junji Hada) will launch the new “EHP-CS3530M Series” in early August, a set of earplug stereo headphones with microphone, featuring a selection of silicone rings and ear caps that can be used together to provide 12 different combinations to choose from, allowing you to find the best fit for your ear; including additional support for making and receiving telephone calls on your smartphone.
Nowadays people have more and more opportunities to use their smartphones to listen to music or watch videos outside of their homes, causing the use of headphones to become more widespread. In line with this trend, the needs of headphone users have also become increasingly more subdivided.
In order to answer to these needs, ELECOM recently launched the “EHP-IN30 Series” of headphones, designed to provide the perfect shape to fit your ear through a combination of silicone rings and ear caps, especially designed for users who seek the most comfortable fit. This “EHP-CS3530M Series” release is for a new model that adds to this functionality by providing support for making and receiving telephone calls on smartphones.
The “EHP-CS3530M Series” features a set of stereo headphones for both ears with built-in microphone which can be connected to a smartphone with a φ3.5mm 4-pole mini plug jack; not only do they allow you to listen to music and watch video content stored in your smartphone, but they can also be used for telephone conversations (*).
The microphone area has a set of handy buttons that are easy to use: a button for picking up/terminating telephone calls, and a sliding volume control (*).
It offers plenty of length with its 1.2m cable, so you can use them comfortably while leaving them plugged into your smartphone inside your bag. The cord has a slider that prevents the headphones from wandering away while stored, also preventing the cord from getting tangled. It also includes a cord keeper that enables you to tidy up any spare cord. The plug area features an “L type plug” that is compact and can be connected without it sticking out too much.
In order to give users the ability to adjust the fit of their headphones, this product includes silicone rings in 3 different sizes, and ear caps in 4 different sizes. These two parts can be put together to provide 12 different combinations to choose from, allowing you to find the best fit for your ear. The ear caps also include an XS size, which is smaller than the S size, especially recommended for ladies. Also, these headphones have a solid basis in terms of performance, being able to reproduce well balanced sounds from the low to high ranges. These headphones have “earplugs” designed to fit in the inner ear, providing high sound insulation, and which can also be used easily without worrying about messing up your hairstyle. They are also light and compact so you are less likely to become tired when using them for long periods of time.
These headphones are available in a great range offering 6 different colors. Additionally, the headphone cord has been designed to match the color of the headphones themselves, offering monochrome models in simple and yet stylish colors, as well as a 3-tone mixed color model.
