In the latter third of August, ELECOM CO., LTD. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Osaka, Japan; President: Junji Hada) will be releasing a new water-resistant case for iPad which can be used in the bath, kitchen, at the seaside, at swimming pools, and suchlike environments around water. It has been granted JIS Protection Level IPX5.
This is the introduction to the market of the “Water-resistant iPad case: TB-A12WPSBK” which makes it possible to use your iPad 2012 or iPad 2 in the bath, kitchen, at the seaside, lakeshore, or poolside, etc.
“TB-A12WPSBK” is a water-resistant case for the iPad 2012/iPad 2 which has water-resistant functionality that has been granted JIS Water-Resistant Protection Level 5（IPX5）, and allows you to use your iPad 2012/iPad 2 around water without needing to be worried about leaking.（*1） Due to the triplicate zipper and the wrap-up type cover, it guards firmly against any water leaks. Furthermore, via a duplicate high-frequency welding machine, it has been created in a way that is robust and break-resistant, so it can be used in the bath, kitchen, at the beach or pool and suchlike personal situations, as well as during sudden rain, so it’s perfect for business situations such as visiting other companies, thus making it the ideal accessory for a salesperson.
It isn’t just a robust case with water-resistant functionality, but also has various functions which make your iPad 2012/iPad 2 easy to use. It comes with a stand which allows stepless angle adjustment, which you can lean your iPad 2012/iPad 2 against while you use it. By changing the direction of the case, you can use it horizontally or vertically. Via the hook-and-loop fastener that is attached to the stand, you can easily adjust it to the angle that you require by changing its fixed position. Of course, you can also operate the touch panel while it’s still in its case.
Additionally, you can store it while the iPad 2012/iPad 2 is still equipped with its shell cover, so you don’t have to waste time removing your cover every time you use this product.（*2）
Other than this, there’s also a neck strap included which makes it easy to carry your iPad 2012/iPad 2. The strap can be adjusted to your preference, between 83cm to 149cm, and it can also be taken off. There’s a camera window on the back of the case, so you can still easily use the iPad’s camera.
