Presentation mode function assignment
Under Presentation mode, the mouse can be used to perform functions such as going to the next slide or returning to the previous slide in presentation apps such as PowerPoint. When presentation mode is enabled, you can switch between it and regular mouse mode.
You can customise specific operations of the buttons in presentation mode such as to disable scrolling.
How to assign functions
- Select “Presentation mode ON/OFF” from the selection box of the button to be set.
e.g. When assigning Button 4 (“Back” button)- If none of the buttons are set to “Presentation mode ON/OFF” under the “ Buttons” tab, clicking on the “Presentation mode” tab will bring up a dialogue and changes cannot be made.

- Click on the “Presentation mode” tab.
- Under the settings page, settings such as assigning function for each button, turning on/off the scroll function, horizontal scroll speed, and flying scroll can be changed.
- Horizontal scroll speed and flying scroll function settings are the same as their settings under the “Buttons” tab.

Functions under “Assignable functions” may be assigned for each of the buttons listed.
The button assigned to “Presentation mode ON/OFF” cannot be changed. - Flying Scrolling
You can set up high speed scrolling. When “Disable wheel” is on, settings are unavailable.
- Scroll
When “Disable wheel” is checked, the wheel cannot be used to scroll. “Mouse pointer speed” will be grayed out and settings are unavailable.
- Horizontal scrolling speed
Horizontal scrolling speed can be set to 8 levels.
- Click on the “Apply” button on the settings page.
Presentation mode function settings are complete.- The assigned functions will not be reflected if the “Apply” button is not clicked on.
If the “Undo” button is clicked, the settings will not be reflected and the setting page will close.

Assignable functions
In presentation mode, the following functions can be assigned to the buttons.
Display name and explanation of function
- Off
- Click functions for the assigned buttons will be disabled.
- Go to previous slide
- Show one slide before.
- Go to next slide
- Show the next slide.
- Slide blackout
- Black out the screen.
- Slide whiteout
- Return the screen to before blackout.
- Volume Up
- Increase the volume for the entire Macintosh system.
- Volume Down
- Decrease the volume for the entire Macintosh system.
- End presentation
- End the slideshow.
- Start presentation (PowerPoint)
- Start the PowerPoint slideshow.
- Start presentation (KeyNote)
- Start the KeyNote slideshow.
- Go to last slide (PowerPoint)
- Go to the last slide in the PowerPoint slideshow.
- Go to last slide (KeyNote)
- Go to the last slide in the KeyNote slideshow.
- Pause (KeyNote)
- Pause the slideshow in KeyNote.
- Show/Hide buttons (KeyNote)
