How to reinstall
To reinstall the uninstalled ELECOM Mouse Assistant, please follow the steps below.
Access ELECOM’s website as shown below and download the latest version of the application.

- To search based on model number, input the model number printed on the underside of the mouse and click on the search button.
- To search based on product category, under “Input devices”, click on “Mouse”. This will bring you to another page where you can either search by inputting the model number printed on the underside of the mouse or click on the model number.
- Please install using a user account with administrative rights.
- Your device needs to restart after installation. It is recommended to close all applications before performing the installation.
- Double-click on the downloaded file 'ELECOM_Mouse_Installer_x.x.x.x.dmg’ (x.x.x.x is different depending on the version).
- The Finder shown below will appear. Double-click on ELECOM_Mouse_Installer_x.x.x.x
- The installer will start up.
Follow the instructions on the screen to proceed with installation.
- Click on the “Continue” button.
- If an older version of Mouse Assistant is installed, click on “Installer” next to the Apple mark on the top left of the screen, select “Quit
Installer” and uninstall after the installer has finished.
- If an older version of Mouse Assistant is installed, click on “Installer” next to the Apple mark on the top left of the screen, select “Quit
Installer” and uninstall after the installer has finished.
- Click on the “Install” button.
- Clicking on the “Go Back” button will bring you back to the welcome page.
- Click on the “Continue Installation” button.
- The insert password page will appear.
If a password is registered, please input your password.- If you do not know the password, please contact your computer’s administrator.
Installation cannot be cancelled from here on.
File copying will begin.
- Click on the “Restart” button.
The system will restart.
Installation is complete.
