Cleaning this product
If the body of this product becomes dirty, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth.
Using a volatile liquid such as paint thinner, benzene or alcohol may affect the material quality and/or discolor this product.
Please note the following for disinfection.
Gently soak a cleaning cloth, such as a microfiber cloth, in the disinfectant solution. Make sure there are no loose droplets and gently wipe the product using the cloth.
After wiping, dry thoroughly and wipe off any residual liquid.

The following are included in this package. Verify the package to ensure all items are accounted for prior to using this product. When each function is ON, the corresponding LED lamp lights up white.
② Wheel key
The functions when the wheel is rotated or pressed can be assigned.
* In the default state, rotating adjusts the volume and pressing mutes the volume.

When pressing and another key simultaneously, the function that is assigned in the Key Settings screen can be used.
* In the default state, functions such as memory switching and turning the LED lights ON/OFF are pre-assigned. For more information, see “Setting up the ELECOM GAMING Tool (EG Tool)” - “Configure Key Function”.
④ Keys that operate when the key is pressed
In the default state, the following keys are assigned.

Switch between profiles assigned to each memory number.

⑤ Gaming Mode key
Press spacebar () while holding
to operate under gaming mode. The ELECOM GAMING Tool (EG Tool) must be downloaded from our website and installed to set up Gaming Mode.

⑥ USB Type-C port
Connect to the PC using the supplied cable.
⑦ USB-A port for connecting a device
The USB connector of a device such as a wireless mouse can be connected.
Connecting to a PC
Magnetic devices such as speakers, smartphones, and tablets should be placed at least 3 cm away from the keyboard.
This product uses magnetic sensors to detect the ON/OFF status of the keys and magnetic devices nearby may cause it to malfunction or not respond well.
1) Start up your PC.
Please wait until the PC has started up and can be operated.
2) Connect the USB Type-C connector of the charging cable supplied to the USB Type-C port of this product.
3) Connect the USB-A connector on the included charging cable to the USB-A port on your PC.
Any type of USB-A port can be used.
To remove the keyboard
This product supports hot plugging. The keyboard may be removed while the PC is in operation.
4) The driver will be automatically installed. You will then be able to use the keyboard.
You can now use the product.
By installing the setting software “EG Tool”, you can assign functions to all keys, disable them, and set the backlight/LED. Please continue to “Setting up the ELECOM GAMING Tool (EG Tool)”.
This product comes with a (Gaming Mode) replacement keycap.
In addition, you may replace the spacebar on this product with a short spacebar to the side. For more information, see Replacing the spacebar.
The keycaps for each row have different key heights. You are free to replace the keys in the same color blocks shown below, including replacement keycaps.
■ Replacing keycaps
1) Remove the original keycap by inserting the included keycap puller under both sides of the key you want to replace and lifting it upward.
2) Install the replacement keycap.
■ Replacing the key switch
1) Remove the original key switch by holding down the claws on both sides of the key switch you want to replace with the included tweezer and lifting it upwards.
2) Install the replacement key switch.
Install it back in the original hole so that the engraved logo is positioned like the image below.
*If the keycaps are installed in the wrong orientation, keyboard input may not work properly.
■ Replacing the spacebar
You may replace the spacebar on this product with a short spacebar to the side on this keyboard.
If you replace it with a short spacebar, a (Customize) key will be added. You may assign your key of choice to the customize key on the key settings screen. For key mapping, refer to “Setting up the ELECOM GAMING Tool (EG Tool)” - “Configure Key Function”.
1) Remove the keycap of the (Alt) key with the included keycap puller.
2) Grasp both ends of the spacebar with your fingers and remove it.
3) Use the dedicated Phillips screwdriver to remove the 4 screws in the metal part of the space bar, then remove the whole key switch.
4) Remove the keycap from the included short spacebar unit and separate it from the griddle.
5) Attach the metal part of the short space bar to the keyboard and secure it with the 4 screws.
6) Attach the (Alt) key,
(Customize) key, and short spacebar keycaps.
7) Install and launch EG Tool. Click "Custom Key + Space Bar" on the key setting screen to enable it.
Once you have downloaded and installed EG Tool from our website, you can assign or disable functions to all keys, as well as configure the backlight and gaming mode.

■Installing the EG Tool
Before installing
1) Unzip the downloaded file EG_Tool_Vxxx.zip (xxx is different depending on the version) to your desktop, etc.
*Depending on your operating environment, clicking on “Open file” after download may cause it to unzip.
2) Double-click on “EG_Tool_Vxxx.exe” (xxx is different depending on the version) in the unzipped folder.
3) The installer will start up.
Click on the “Yes” button when the “User Account Control” window appears.
4) Click on “Next“.
5) Click on “Install”.
6) Click on “Finish”.
This completes the installation of the EG Tool.
*If you select “Launch EG Tool”, EG Tool will start.
■ Running the EG Tool
1) To run EG Tool for the first time, double-click the “EG Tool” icon created on the desktop.
2) The EG Tool setting screen will appear.
If you start up EG Tool without connecting the device, you will receive a "No device detected" message. When the product is connected, various setting screens are displayed.
■About the EG Tool setting screen
① Profile Settings
You can register the current settings as a profile. By switching between multiple profiles, you can change multiple settings at once.
* Refer to “Setting up a profile” for details.
② Menu button
Click on the menu button and select “Check for updates” to check the EG Tool version information.
A “●” will appear in the upper right corner if there is a version update for EG Tool. When you see this, you can click on “Check for updates” and choose to “START UPDATE” or “Ignore this version”. Select “START UPDATE” and click “Install” to begin installing the software.

③ Key Configuration
Select a key to assign or disable a function and configure settings such as key sensitivity.
* Refer to “Configure Key Function” for details.
④ Key sensitivity configuration
Configure the sensitivity of all keyboard keys.
* Refer to “Configuring key sensitivity” for details.
⑤ Gaming Mode setting
Set the type of gaming mode that will be activated when the key on this product is pressed.
* Refer to “Gaming Mode setup” for details.
⑥ Lighting setting
When the lighting function of this product is turned on, the color of the backlight, the lighting speed, the lighting method, etc. are set. Turn the lighting function ON/OFF using the key assigned under Key Configuration.
* Refer to “Configuring lighting” for details.
⑦ Maintenance
Perform firmware update.

■ Configuring key sensitivity
● Configuring the sensitivity of all keyboard keys
Enter the numerical values for “Key ON Sensitivity” and “Key OFF Sensitivity” at the end of the Key Configuration screen.
Key ON Sensitivity
Configure the sensitivity regarding how much a key needs to be pushed before a key action turns ON, within the range of 0.1 mm to 3.8 mm.
Click the key ON sensitivity number and enter a value, then press the Enter key to complete the configuration.
Key OFF Sensitivity
Configure the sensitivity regarding how much a key needs to be released after being held down before a key action turns OFF, within the range of 0.1 mm to 3.8 mm.
Click the key OFF sensitivity number and enter a value, then press the Enter key to complete the configuration.
Enable Accidental Touch Prevention
Setting the sensitivity value to a small value such as 0.1mm may lead to unintentional input with the slightest movement of the key from your touch.
If you are concerned about accidental input, increase the sensitivity value or click “Enable Accidental Touch Prevention”.
Enabling accidental touch prevention will restrict the following.
Help button
Displays a description of the key sensitivity settings.
The following help screen will be shown. Click “OK” to close.
● Configuring the sensitivity of multiple keys at once
You can configure the sensitivity of multiple keys of your choice all at once.
1) Hold down the (Ctrl) key while clicking multiple keys for which you wish to change the sensitivity, then release the
(Ctrl) key.
2) Enter the values for “Key ON Sensitivity” and “Key OFF Sensitivity” and click “OK”.
The sensitivity of the selected keys will all change at once.
Refer to “● Configuring the sensitivity of all keyboard keys” to change the sensitivity.
After configuration, the key display will change to and will be treated as a key with advanced settings.
The number next to the gear shows the number of the key with advanced settings.
You can configure up to 20 keys with advanced settings.
Refer to “● Advanced Settings” to configure the sensitivity of certain specific keys only.
■ Configure Key Function
To assign a function to a key, click the key you want to bind and choose the function you want to assign from the pull-down menu.
Some functions allow you to select functions in the lower levels or to configure items.
* Some Japanese input-specific keys, such as the conversion key and non-conversion key, may not be assigned on this product by default.
To use these keys, change the input layout to Japanese, and assign them using your on-screen keyboard.
Refer to “Troubleshooting”- “Configuring the conversion and non-conversion keys” for details.
When you click “Clear all”, all the settings under Key Configuration are cleared.
When “Fn” is selected under Key Configuration, you can configure a key to trigger a function while the key is held down.
* Under the default settings, functions such as memory switching and turning the LED lights ON/OFF are pre-assigned.
In addition, keys that are bound to when “Standard” is selected under the Configure Key Function section, cannot be configured when “Fn” is selected.
● Advanced Settings
Key action features such as triggering a key stoke with one or a combination of key strokes, and key actions dependent on different depth of key depression can be configured.
* You can configure advanced settings for up to 20 keys.
Advanced settings can be configured only when “Standard” is selected under Key Configuration. Settings cannot be done when “Fn” is selected.
After configuration, the key display will change to show .
The number next to the gear indicates the number of the key that you have done advanced settings for.
Key Actions
“1st”
You can assign a key action that acts first after the key starts depressing.
Up to 3 simultaneous key strokes can be assigned to trigger the key action.
Click Key Configuration and enter the key you want to assign.
* Refer to “● Keyboard” for how to assign key functions.
“2nd”
You can assign a key action that acts when the key is depressed deeply, close to the bottom.
Up to 3 simultaneous key strokes can be assigned to trigger the key action.
Click to enable “Enable Second Action”. Mark with a check to enable.
* To disable, click again to remove the check mark.
Click Key Configuration and enter the key you want to assign.
* Refer to “● Keyboard” for how to assign key functions.
If you wish for the 1st key action to act even after the key is depressed to the depth of the 2nd key action, register the actions you wish to continue to both 1st and 2nd.
Key ON Sensitivity, Key OFF Sensitivity
Configure the sensitivity for individual keys.
Click “Individual Key Config.” to configure. Mark with a check to enable.
* To disable, click again to remove the check mark.
Refer to “Configuring key sensitivity” for details.
Help button
Displays descriptions of Key Actions, Key ON Sensitivity and Key OFF Sensitivity.
The following help screen will be shown. Click “OK” to close.
● Switch Memory
The profile set to the memory number will be assigned to the selected key.
To assign a memory number to a profile, see “● Assign memory numbers”.
● Media
Bind the selected key to a multimedia action.
Select “Media” and select one of the actions listed.
“Play/Pause”
Plays the media player. Pressing it while the media is playing will pause it.
“Previous track”
Go back to the previous track/capture/file in the media player. *
“Next track”
Go to the next track/capture/file in the media player. *
“Volume up”
Increase Windows® system volume.
“Volume down”
Decrease Windows® system volume.
“Mute”
This key mutes audio output for the entire system.
Press again to unmute audio.
*It may not work depending on the media player you use.
● Keyboard
Set the keyboard operation for the selected button.
1) Select “Keyboard” and press the key for the function you wish to assign.
For example, after you click the key, select “Keyboard”, and press the
(Ctrl) key on this product, the following will be displayed.
If you are unable to type using this product, click the on-screen keyboard icon to the right of the input field.
To assign Japanese-input specific keys such as the conversion key and non-conversion key, change the input layout to Japanese, and click on the on-screen keyboard icon.
Refer to “Troubleshooting”- “Configuring the conversion and non-conversion keys” for details.
When the Windows on-screen keyboard appears, click the key you want to type.
* “R-ctrl” may not be displayed on some on-screen keyboards.
In addition, you can register functions other than standard key inputs, such as memory switching and lighting, by clicking the menu icon next to the on-screen keyboard icon.
2) Click on “OK”.
The key on the settings screen will change to show the assigned function (
).
● Mouse
Assign mouse button functions to a selected key.
After configuration, the key display will change to displays such as .
* Depending on the settings and software of the mouse you are using, the operations may differ from the functions assigned here.
● Gaming Mode ON / OFF
Assign the Gaming Mode ON/OFF function registered to the key on this product to a selected key.
After configuration, the key display will change to show .
● Fn Key
Set the selected key to the Fn key.
After configuration, the display of the key switches to .
● IME Key
IME is a function that switches the input method for "Microsoft IME", a software provided by Microsoft that supports Japanese input.
Assign the selected key to IME ON or IME OFF.
* This may not be usable depending on the input method set.
After configuration, the key display will switch to for IME ON and
for IME OFF.
Press IME ON to enter hiragana mode, and IME OFF to enter half-width alphanumeric mode.
The IME key works on the following Windows operating systems:
● Lighting ON / OFF
Set the selected key to the lighting ON/OFF key of this product.
After configuration, the key display will change to show .
● Change lighting
When the lighting function is ON, register the selected key as the switch lighting mode key.
* Refer to “Configuring lighting” for details.
After configuration, the key display will change to show .
● Disabled
Disables the selected button.
After configuration, the key display will change to show .
● Restore default settings
Restore the selected button to factory settings.
■ Gaming Mode setup
Select the keystrokes to disable when gaming mode is enabled.
* Some functions may not be usable depending on the input method.
The items that you click are marked with a check and disabled.
* To delete the setting, click again to remove the check mark.
■ Configuring lighting
When the lighting function of this product is turned on, the color of the backlight, the lighting speed, the lighting method, etc. are set.
● Choosing lighting effects
Select the lighting effect you want to set from the pull-down menu.
“Wave”
The lighting part moves with colorful colors like waves.
“Drift”
Repeat the movement of the flashing part from the center to both ends and from both ends to the center with colorful colors.
“Breathing (rainbow)”
Lights up in a colorful manner.
“Breathing (static)”
Lights up with *the specified color.
“Static”
Lights up with the specified color.
“Custom area”
The specified area is lit with the specified color*.
The lighting area is specified by clicking or dragging a key on the setting screen.
“Splash”
The area around the key you pressed lights up in the specified color.
The brightness will change depending on to how deeply the key is pressed.
“Laser”
It lights up colorfully like a laser around the pressed key.
“Sync With Actuation”
The light around the pressed key will light up. The color of the light will change depending on how deeply the key is pressed. It will light up green when input is ON, according to the key sensitivity configuration. It will turn red when input is OFF.
In addition, only keys that have “Enable Second Action” checked under “Advanced Settings” will light up blue when the 2nd action is activated.
“Rotating”
Colorful lighted sections will rotate around the keyboard.
“Color Shift”
The entire keyboard will cycle through one color at a time.
“Off”
Turn off the backlight.
* To specify a color
1) Click on the color indicator on each setting screen.
2) Click the button for the color you wish to set.
Setting history shows the colors you have set before in the past.
* To cancel the setting, click “CANCEL”.
3) If there is no color you want to set on the setting screen, click “DETAILS”.
The advanced setting screen will appear.
① Drag the pointer on the slider and choose a color tome.
② Check the color, such as its saturation, in the display area and click the position for the optimal color. (You can click any number of times.)
③ Click “APPLY”.
The applied color will be reflected in the color indicator of step 1.
* To cancel the setting, click “CANCEL”.
● Set the operating speed
Drag the pointer on the slider to set the speed of the selected lighting effect.
● “Enable lighting over a USB connection even without a data connection.” checkbox
Check the box to leave the lights on when this product is connected to a charging USB port or USB hub, even if the PC is shut down or in sleep mode.
Uncheck this if the light turns on unintentionally when the PC is shut down or in sleep mode.
■ Setting up a profile
You can register the current settings as a profile. By switching between multiple profiles, you can change multiple settings at once.
● Assign memory numbers
Assign a memory number to the currently displayed profile.
Profiles with a memory number can be called up using the key assigned under “● Switch Memory” or changed.
In addition, the profile with an assigned memory number is stored in the keyboard itself, and can be used even if this product is connected to a PC that does not have EG tool installed.
Refer to “When connected to a PC without EG tool installed” for details.
You cannot assign or change the memory number unless you have at least four profiles. To assign or change memory number, make sure that you have four or more profiles by “● Creating a profile”.
1) Click on the name of the profile that does not have an assigned memory number.
A will show up next to the profile name.
2) Click on next to the the name of the profile and select the memory number you wish to assign.
You cannot assign a new memory number to a profile that already has a memory number. If you wish to change the memory number of a profile, remove the memory setting of that profile by assigning its memory number to another profile without a memory number.
3) The memory number will be displayed next to the profile name.
If a memory number that has already been assigned to a different profile is selected, the memory number is removed from that original profile and assigned to the new profile.
When connected to a PC without EG tool installed
If this product is connected to a computer that does not have EG tool installed, the profile assigned to memory will be read from the keyboard itself.
When connecting to a computer that does not have EG tool installed, it is recommended to assign keys to switch between all the profile assigned to memories, such as “Cycle”.
Refer to “Switch Memory” for details.
● Creating a profile
Saving the current settings with a name.
1) Click on the Profile Settings.
2) Enter a profile name and click “CREATE”.
3) The newly created profile name is displayed under Profile Settings.
● Switching between profiles
By switching between profiles, you can change the settings together.
1) Click the name of the profile you want to set.
2) After “Applying settings” is displayed, it will switch to the selected profile.
● Change the profile name
Changes the name of the currently displayed profile.
1) Click on next to the profile name you want to change and select “Rename”.
2) Enter the name of the profile and click on the “OK” button.
● Delete a profile
Selects the profile you want to delete and delete it.
1) Click on next to the the name of the profile you want to delete and select “Delete”.
Profiles cannot be deleted in the following situations:
The number of profiles cannot be less than three. If there is a profile that you wish to delete, make sure that there are four or more profiles by “● Creating a profile”.
After that, transfer the memory number from the profile to be deleted to the new profile created by “Assign memory numbers”. The profile can be deleted after the memory number is transferred.
2) Click “DELETE” on the confirmation screen.
● Restore settings to default
Restore this product to the default settings. All profile settings will be erased.
1) Click on the Profile Settings.
2) Click “RESTORE TO DEFAULT” on the confirmation screen.
■ Update firmware
Update the product firmware to the latest version.
1) Click “Update” under Maintenance.
2) Click on the “Yes” button when the “User Account Control” window appears.
3) Click “START UPDATE” on the update screen.
4) On the update completion screen, click “Finish”.

Please follow the steps below.
1) Please unplug the USB connector from the PC.
2) Turn the keyboard upside down to drain the liquid inside.
3) Wipe off water droplets on the surface with a dry cloth.
4) Tilt the keyboard diagonally (30 to 45 degrees) with the spacebar below, leave it for at least 24 hours, and let it dry.

When using any alcohol-based products, please check that it is appropriate for the specific purpose and that it is used properly.
Please note that the customer is fully responsible for repair costs in the event that the product is damaged or operates abnormally due to the disinfection process.
It is recommended that you sanitize your hands before and after using PCs and peripherals that are used by multiple people to prevent the spread of infection through the equipment.
1) Click the “Start” button at the bottom of the screen.
2) Click “All apps”.
3) Click “Windows Tools”.
The “Windows Tools” screen will appear.
4) Double-click “Control Panel”.
5) Click “System and Security”.
6) Click “Power Options”.
7) Click “Change plan settings” to the right of the item selected in “Power Plan”.
8) On the “Edit Plan Settings” screen, click “Change advanced power settings”.
9) On the “Power Options” screen, click the “+” mark in “USB settings” from the list, and then click the “+” mark in “USB selective suspend setting”.
10) In the dropdown next to “Setting”, select “Disabled”.
If you are using a laptop, there are two items instead of “Settings”: “On battery” and “Plugged in”. In that case, please set the “Plugged in” setting to “Disabled”.
11) Click “OK” to confirm the settings.
12) Click the “×” (close) in the upper right corner to close “Edit Plan Settings”.

To register keys specific to Japanese input, such as conversion and non-conversion keys, follow the steps below to switch to Japanese input.
For Windows 11
1) Right click “Start”, then select “Settings”.
2) Click on “Time & language” → “Language & region”.
3) Click “...” for “Japanese” and then click “Language options”.
4) Click “Change layout” under “Keyboards”.
5) Select “Japanese keyboard (106/109 key)” from the pull-down menu displayed on the “Change hardware keyboard layout” screen, and then click “Restart now” to restart the PC.
6) Press the Windows key and space key a few times to change the input method to “Japanese”.
7) Refer to “● Keyboard” and click on the on-screen keyboard icon.
For Windows 10
1) Right click “Start”, then select “Settings”.
2) Click on “Time & language”.
3) Click on “Language”.
4) Click “Japanese” under “Preferred languages”, then click “Options”.
5) Under “Hardware keyboard layout”, click “Change layout”.
6) Select “Japanese keyboard (106/109 key)” from the pull-down menu displayed on the “Change hardware keyboard layout” screen, and then click “Restart now” to restart the PC.
7) Press the Windows key and space key a few times to change the input method to “Japanese”.
8) Refer to “● Keyboard” and click on the on-screen keyboard icon.
