Usage outside the set voltage range can cause overheating, ignition, electric shock, or personal injury.

WARNING

If a foreign object (water, metal chips) enters this product, stop using immediately and remove the battery.
Continuing to use the product as it is may cause a fire or electric shock.

If this product is behaving abnormally, such as generating heat or smoke or strange smells, stop usage immediately. Shut off any connected device(s), and confirm that the product is safe to touch before removing the receiver unit or the USB cable from your PC. Afterwards, please contact your dealer.

This product does not have a waterproof structure. Use or store in a place not exposed to liquids such as water.
Any liquid such as rain, water spray, juice, coffee, steam, and sweat, may cause this product to breakdown.

  • Please do not use this product for anything other than as a mouse for PCs.
  • Do not use this product with any device that may significantly be affected in the case of this product malfunctioning.
  • If this product is used on a transparent surface such as glass or a highly reflective surface such as a mirror, the optical sensor will not function correctly and the mouse cursor movement will become unstable.
  • Although the sensor light is not visible, please note that looking directly into the sensor may hurt your eyes.
  • When you wish to dispose of this product, be sure do so in accordance with the local ordinances and laws of your area.

Cleaning this product

If the body of this product becomes dirty, wipe with a soft, dry cloth.

Using a volatile liquid (such as paint thinner, benzene or alcohol) may affect the material quality and/or discolor this product.

Please note the following for disinfection.

Gently soak a cleaning cloth, such as a microfiber cloth, in the disinfectant solution. Make sure there are no loose droplets and gently wipe the product using the cloth.
After wiping, dry thoroughly and wipe off any residual liquid.

*Do not spray any liquid onto the product directly. Doing so can cause electric malfunctions.

We recommend the usage of disposable gloves.

Please unplug the USB connector from this product and the PC.

When using any alcohol based products, please check that it is appropriate for the specific purpose and that it is used properly.

Please note that in the event that damage or abnormal operation to the product is caused by the cleaning process, the customer will be fully responsible for the cost of repair.

We recommend that you disinfect your hands before and after using PCs and peripheral devices that are used by multiple people in order to prevent the spread of infection through the equipment.

Cautions for Wireless Equipment

This product is a wireless device that can use the entire 2.4 GHz band, and is able to avoid the mobile entity identification device range. The GFSK method is adopted as the radio wave method, and the interference distance is 10 m. The 2.4 GHz band is also used in medical devices, Bluetooth, and wireless LAN devices of the IEEE 802.11b/11g/11n standards.

  • Before using this product, check that there are no other “radio stations”* operating nearby.
  • If electromagnetic interference occurs between this product and other “radio stations”, move this product to another location or stop using this product.

* Other "radio stations" refer to industrial, scientific and medical devices using the 2.4 GHz band, the same as this product, other radio stations of this type, licensed radio station premises for a mobile object identification system that is used in factory production lines, certain non-licensed low power radio stations, and amateur radio stations.

WARNING

  • Do not use in equipment which may cause serious effects due to it malfunctioning. There are rare cases in which an external radio wave at the same frequency, or the radio wave emitted from a mobile phone, causes this product to malfunction, slow down, or fail to operate.
  • Do not use this product in places where radio wave usage is prohibited, such as hospitals. Radio waves of this product may affect electronic devices and medical devices (for example pacemakers).
  • Due to the possibility of hindering safe navigation of aircraft, use of wireless mouse in aircraft is prohibited by the Civil Aeronautics Act. Turn off the power of the wireless mouse before boarding and do not use after boarding.

How to use

Items included in this package

The following are included in this package. Verify the package to ensure all items are accounted for prior to using this product. While every effort has been made to ensure proper packaging, in the event that any shortage or damage is discovered, please contact the retailer where the product was purchased.

Rotate forward and backward or click like a button to operate your PC.

“Back” button

Performs the “Back” function on the Web browser.

“Forward” button

Performs the “Forward” function on the Web browser.

Additional buttons

Any function can be assigned to these buttons.
*At the time of purchase, nothing is set.

DPI stage switch button

Count number (pointer movement speed) can be changed between 5 levels.

DPI1: 400dpi
DPI2: 800dpi (default)
DPI3: 1600dpi
DPI4: 2400dpi
DPI5: 3200dpi

The count number for each stage can be adjusted. To adjust it, please install the EG Tool from our website.

You can assign the function for all the buttons in ~ . To configure the button assignment, please install the EG Tool from our website.

RGB LED lamps

  • When the power is turned on, it will light up for 3 seconds with a color corresponding to the currently set number of counts. (The default is DPI 2: purple)
  • You can set the lighting (lighting color, lighting pattern) that is normally in use.

    To configure the lighting, please install the EG Tool from our website. For more information, see “Setting up the ELECOM GAMING Tool (EG Tool)” - “Setting up lighting”.

  • When you press the DPI stage switching button, it will light up for 3 seconds with the color corresponding to the DPI stage currently being set.
    DPI 1: Red
    DPI 2: Purple
    DPI 3: Indigo
    DPI 4: Green
    DPI 5: Yellow
  • To set the count number, please install the EG Tool from our website.
    For more information, see "Setting up the ELECOM GAMING Tool (EG Tool)" - "Setting the DPI Stage".

Notification LED

  • When the power is turned on, it will light up solid red for 3 seconds.
  • The LED will blink red when the remaining charge is low.
  • It will flash green continuously while charging.
  • When charging is complete, it will light up in green.

USB Type-C port

Port to connect the supplied charging cable.

Lift cut-off distance sensor

When you lift the mouse, the sensor detects the LoD (Lift off Distance).

The LoD (Lift off Distance) can be changed. To adjust it, please install the EG Tool from our website.
For more information, see “Setting up the ELECOM GAMING Tool (EG Tool)” - “Optimize the lift-off distance for the mouse pad”.

Optical sensor

This sensor will detect the mouse movements when you move the mouse.

* The sensor uses invisible (transparent) light. Please note that direct viewing of the light source may hurt the eyes.

Power switch

When using it with wireless connection, turn the power on / off on the mouse body.

Receiver unit storage part

The receiver unit can be stowed here when it is not being used with the mouse or it is being wirelessly connected.

Using in wireless mode

1.Charging the battery

1) Connect the USB Type-C connector of the charging cable supplied to the USB Type-C port of this product.

2) Connect the USB-A connector on the included charging cable to the USB-A port on your PC.

  • Ensure that the connector is correctly oriented to the port.
  • If there is strong resistance when inserting, check the shape and orientation of the connector. Forcibly inserting the connector may damage the connector, and there is a risk of injury.
  • Do not touch the terminal portion of the USB connector.

3) Turn on the power of the PC, if it has not been already switched on.

The notification LED will blink green and charging will begin. When charging is complete, the green light will remain lit up.

It takes about 5 hours for the product to be fully charged.
If the notification LED does not turn solid green after the prescribed charging time, disconnect the charging cable and cancel charging. Otherwise, this can cause overheating, rupturing or fires.

2. Turn the power ON

1) Slide the power switch on the underside of this product to the ON position.

The notification LED will light up red for 3 seconds. The RGB LED will also light up for 3 seconds in different colors depending on the DPI count in use.

* The LED will blink red when the remaining charge is low.

Power-saving mode

When the mouse is left untouched for a fixed period of time while the power is ON, it automatically shifts to power-saving mode.
The mouse returns from power-saving mode when it is moved.

* Mouse operation may be unstable for 2-3 seconds after returning from the power-saving mode.

3. Connect to a PC

1) Start up your PC.

Please wait until your PC has started up and can be operated.

2) Connect the receiver unit and charging cable to the receiver extension adapter and insert them into the USB-A port of your PC.

  • You may use any USB-A port.
  • You can also connect the receiver unit directly to your PC.

  • Ensure that the connector is correctly oriented to the port.
  • If there is strong resistance when inserting, check the shape and orientation of the connector. Forcibly inserting the connector may damage the connector, and there is a risk of injury.
  • Do not touch the terminal portion of the USB connector.

When removing the receiver unit

This product supports hot plugging. You can remove the receiver unit even when the PC is running.

3) The driver will be automatically installed, and you will then be able to use the mouse.

You can now use the mouse.

Using in wired mode

1. Connect to a PC

1) Connect the USB Type-C connector of the charging cable supplied to the USB Type-C port of this product.

2) Start up your PC.

Please wait until your PC has started up and can be operated.

3) Connect the USB-A connector on the included charging cable to the USB-A port on your PC.

  • Ensure that the connector is correctly oriented to the port.
  • If there is strong resistance when inserting, check the shape and orientation of the connector. Forcibly inserting the connector may damage the connector, and there is a risk of injury.
  • Do not touch the terminal portion of the USB connector.

4) The driver will be automatically installed, and you will then be able to use the mouse.

You can now use the mouse.

You will be able to assign functions to all the buttons, and setup the DPI count and light by installing the settings software “EG Tool”. Please continue to "Setting up with ELECOM GAMING Tool (EG Tool)".


Fitting the mouse feet

There are 2 mouse feet products that can be attached to the bottom of this product. (For use with the 2-Mode system, and spares for replacement).
The glide of the mouse can be adjusted to your liking by changing the area of the mouse feet.
* Please peel off the blue protective film before attaching the mouse feet.

If you are concerned about the wearing down or scratches on the mouse feet caused by use of this product, you can replace them with the spares to maintain optimal gliding.
To replace, remove the mouse feet from the groove as shown in yellow in the image below.

Replacement mouse feet are also available for sale separately.

Fitting the full cover grip sheet

This product comes with a full cover grip sheet that can cover the entire mouse.

1) Before applying the grip sheet, remove dust and dirt from the surface with the included cleaning cloth.

2) Align the grip sheet for the main unit with the middle line and attach it to the red line.

3) Apply slowly so that the position of the RGB LED lamp is in the center of the hole.

4) Apply while slowly stretching out the wrinkles.

5) Affix according to the red line, then apply according to the hole of the side button.

6) Affix while filling in the gap in the red line part.

7) Apply the remaining part(s) while slowly stretching out the wrinkles.

8) Paste the opposite side while stretching the wrinkles to match the red line as well.

9) Attach the grip sheet for the left button and the right button to match the position of each button.

10) Affix the grip sheet to the top button.

11) Affix the grip sheet to the “back” and “forward” buttons.

12) You can also attach a grip sheet to the RGB LED lamp part.
You can use it however you like.

13) You can also attach a grip sheet to the bottom of the receiver extension adapter.
It can be used as a non-slip surface when the receiver extension adapter is placed on the desk. You can use it however you like.

When peeling off the grip sheet from the left and right buttons, peel it off from the inside of the mouse.
If you try to peel it off from the outside forcibly, the button may be damaged.

Please replace with new ones if the surface is worn down or if the adhesive has lost its strength.

Setting up the ELECOM GAMING Tool (EG Tool)

Once you have downloaded and installed the EG Tool from our website, you can assign or disable functions to all buttons, set DPI, set polling rate, and configure RGB LED lamps.

■ Getting the EG Tool

Access ELECOM’s website as shown below and download the latest version of the application.

■ Installing the EG Tool

Before installing

  • Unpackage this product first. For details, see "Connecting and setting up the mouse" - How to connect each - "Connect to a PC".
  • Please logon using a user account with administrative rights.
  • It is recommended to end all Windows® programs (application software).
  • The following images are from Windows®11 screens. The screen may look different depending on the OS, but the operation is identical.

1) Unzip the downloaded file 'EG_Tool_Vxxx.zip' (xxx is different depending on the version) to your desktop, etc.

* Depending on your operating environment, clicking on “Open file” after download may cause it to unzip.

2. Double-click on ”EG_Tool_Vxxx.exe” (xxx is different depending on the version) in the unzipped folder.

3) The installer will start up.

Click on the “Yes” button when the “User Account Control” window appears.

4) Click on “Next >”.

5) Click on “Install”.

6) Click on “Finish”.

This completes the installation of the EG Tool.

* If you click "Launch EG Tool", EG Tool will start.

■ Running the EG Tool

1) To run EG Tool for the first time, double-click the "EG Tool" icon created on the desktop.

2) The EG Tool setting screen will appear.

If you start the EG Tool without connecting the device, you will "No device detected". When the product is connected, various setting screens are displayed.

Profile setup

You can register the current settings as a profile. By switching between multiple profiles, you can change multiple settings at once.
For details, please refer to “Setting up a profile”.

Menu button

Click on the menu button and select “Check for Updates” to check the EG Tool version information.

Charge status display

Displays the charging status of the mouse.

Button setting

Select the button and set the function assignment, disable, etc.
* For details, please refer to "Setting the function of the buttons".

DPI stage setting section

Sets the DPI of the mouse.
*For details, please refer to "Setting the DPI Stage".

Polling rate setting section

Sets the mouse’s polling rate.
* For details, please refer to "Setting the Polling Rate".

Lighting setting

Set the color and lighting method of the LED lamp of this product.
* For details, please refer to “Setting up lighting”.

Mouse pad optimization setting section

Sets the lift-off distance sensor to match the mouse pad.
* For details, please refer to "Optimize the lift-off distance for the mouse pad".

Lift cut-off sensor setting section

Mouse pad optimization

Sets the lift-off distance sensor to match the mouse pad.

Lift-off distance

Adjusts the distance at which sensor movement detection is disabled when the mouse is lifted.
* For details, please refer to "Set the lift-off distance".

Maintenance section

Performs a firmware update.

■ Setting the function of the buttons

When you click each of the items from 1~8, the number of the corresponding button lights up on the mouse illustration on the right side, and the setting item is displayed in the submenu. (The setting items are common to each button.)

 

● Mouse

Sets the mouse action for the selected button.

Select "Mouse" and select one of the actions displayed in the list.

“Left Click”

Sets the selected button to act as the left-click button.

The button assigned to left click cannot be assigned to another function if left click is not assigned to another button.
If you try to make changes, you receive the following warning message:

“Right Click”

Sets the selected button to act as the right-click button.

“Middle Click”

Sets the selected button to act as the wheel-click button.

“Button 4 (back)”

Set the selected button to button 4 (the "back" action in the web browser).

“Button 5 (forward)”

Set the selected button to Button 5 (the "forward" action in the web browser).

"Change DPI Stage"

Sets the selected button to the DPI Stage Switching button.
DPI settings can be saved in 5 stages.
The settings are automatically saved in the mouse's main unit memory and are reflected immediately.
*For details, please refer to "Setting the DPI Stage".

● Keyboard

Sets the keyboard operation for the selected button.

1) Select "Keyboard".

The keyboard input screen appears.

2) Press the key you want to assign on your keyboard.

If you are unable to type from the keyboard, click the software keyboard icon to the right of the input field.

When the Windows on-screen keyboard appears, click the key you want to type.

3) Click on “OK”.

The setting screen of the selected button switches to the display of the set function.

● Media

Set the selected button to a multimedia action.

Select “Media” and select one of the actions listed.

“Play/Pause”

Plays the media player. Pressing it while the media is playing will pause it.

“Previous track”

Go back to the previous track/capture/file in the media player. *

“Next track”

Go to the next track/capture/file in the media player. *

“Volume up”

Increase Windows® system volume.

“Volume down”

Decrease Windows® system volume.

“Mute”

This key mutes audio output for the entire system.
Audio unmutes when it is pressed again.


* It may not work depending on the media player you use.

● Disabled

Disables the selected button.

● Restore default settings

Restore the selected button to factory settings.

■ Setting the DPI Stage

DPI (Dot Per Inch) indicates the movement of the cursor when the mouse is moved by 1 inch, in dots. The higher the DPI number, the greater the range and speed at which the pointer moves relative to mouse movement.
With this mouse, DPI can be set to up to 5 stages and you can switch between them.

● Change the count of the DPI stages

Click next to "Number of DPI Stages" to increase the number of DPI stages. Up to 5 DPI stages will be created.
to reduce the number of DPI stages. The minimum is one. The number of DPI stages cannot be 0.

When switching to each DPI stage, the RGB LED on the mouse lights up for 3 seconds with the corresponding color.
DPI 1: Red
DPI 2: Purple
DPI 3: Indigo
DPI 4: Green
DPI 5: Yellow

● Setting DPI

You can set the DPI for each DPI stage. Click next to each DPI stage to increase the DPI count by 100.
You can also use the slide bar to set the DPI value. Click to decrease the DPI count by 100.
DPI can be set in units of 100 between 200~26000.

■ Setting the Polling Rate

The polling rate indicates the frequency (Hz) with which mouse operations are communicated with the PC. The higher the polling rate, the faster the response speed and smoother the cursor movement, but this will increase CPU usage and mouse battery consumption.
The values that can be set in wired and wireless modes are different.

Click a setting to set it.

■ Setting up lighting

Set the color and lighting method of the RGB LED lamp.

● Choosing lighting effects

Select the lighting effect you want to set from the pull-down menu.

"Rainbow"

Lights up in a colorful manner.

“Breathing”

Flashes alternately with up to two specified colors*.

"Static"

Lights up with the specified color.

"Fix to random color"

A random color is selected.

“Off”

Turn off the lighting feature.

* To specify a color

1) Click the color display part of each setting screen.

2) Click the button of the color you want to set.

The configuration history shows the colors you have set in the past.
* To cancel the setting, click “CANCEL”.

3) If there is no color you want to set on the setting screen, click "DETAILS".

The advanced setting screen will appear.

Drag the pointer on the slide bar and choose a color tone.

Check the density in the display area and click the optimal color position. (You can click as many times as you like)

Click “APPLY”.
The applied color will be reflected in the color display part of step 1.
* To cancel the setting, click “CANCEL”.

■ Optimize the lift-off distance for the mouse pad

Sets the lift-off distance sensor to match the mouse pad.

Mouse pad optimization is disabled by default. When making optimizations, please clear the "Disable Mouse Pad Tuning" check box.

1) Hover the mouse over the mouse pad you want to optimize and click “START”.

2) Start optimization.

Do not move the mouse for a while and let it stay still.

3) When the next screen is displayed, click “OK”.

If the optimization fails, the following screen is displayed.
Set the lift-off distance to a higher level and press the “RETRY” button to run the optimization again.

Pressing Cancel will automatically disable it and give you the highest lift-off distance.

■ Set the lift-off distance

Adjusts the distance at which sensor movement detection is disabled when the mouse is lifted.

Drag the pointer on the slide bar to adjust the height.

Depending on the usage environment, setting it too low may prevent the mouse from operating. In that case, adjust it using the left and right keys on the keyboard.

■ Setting up a profile

You can register the current settings as a profile. By switching between multiple profiles, you can change multiple settings at once.

  • There is no limit to the number of profiles.
  • The currently selected profile name is marked with a ✓.

● Creating a profile

Saving the current settings with a name.

1) Click in the Profile Settings section.

2) Enter a profile name and click “CREATE”.

3) The newly created profile name is displayed in the profile settings section.

● Switching between profiles

By switching between profiles, you can change the settings together.

1) Click the name of the profile you want to set.

2) After "Applying settings" is displayed, it will switch to the selected profile.

● Change the profile name

Changes the name of the currently displayed profile.

1) Click on the profile name you want to change and select "Rename".

2) Input the name of the profile and click on the “OK” button.

● Delete a profile

Selects the profile you want to delete and delete it.

1) Click on the name of the profile you want to delete and select "DELETE".

2) Click “Delete” on the confirmation screen.

● Revert the settings

Restore the EG Tool to its factory settings. All profile settings are erased.

1) Click in the Profile Settings section.

2) Click “RESTORE TO DEFAULT” on the confirmation screen.

■ Update the firmware

Updates the EG Tool firmware to the latest version.

1) Connect this product to a PC (both wirelessly and wired).

2) Click “Update” in the maintenance section

3) Click on the “Yes” button when the “User Account Control” window appears.

4) Click “START UPDATE” on the update screen.

5) On the update completion screen, click “Finish”.

Troubleshooting

When disinfecting the mouse

Important

Do not spray any liquid onto the product directly.
Doing so can cause electric malfunctions.

Never apply hot water.
Doing so can cause electric malfunctions.

Do not use organic solvents or ultraviolet lights.
Usage can result in deterioration of the housing components or paints, which can cause damage to the exterior.

We recommend the usage of disposable gloves.

Please unplug the USB connector from this product and the PC.

When using any alcohol based products, please check that it is appropriate for the specific purpose and that it is used properly.

Please note that in the event that damage or abnormal operation to the product is caused by the cleaning process, the customer will be fully responsible for the cost of repair.

We recommend that you disinfect your hands before and after using PCs and peripheral devices that are used by multiple people in order to prevent the spread of infection through the equipment.

Gently soak a cleaning cloth, such as a microfiber cloth, in the disinfectant solution. Make sure there are no loose droplets and gently wipe the product using the cloth.
After wiping, dry thoroughly and wipe off any residual liquid.

When your mouse is not working properly

  • If the mouse does not work properly with wireless connection or the connection is not stable, please try this.

    Check that the mouse is turned ON.

    Check whether the charge on the rechargeable battery has become low.

    • The mouse operation will become unstable when the battery is low. Refer to "Charging" to charge this product.
      * Turning off the power when the mouse is not used for a long period of time can extend the battery life.

    Change the positions of the PC and the mouse.

    • This wireless device uses the 2.4GHz band. Please use the mouse within range of the PC.

    Average radio wave range
    Non-magnetic surface (such as wooden desks): approximately 10 m
    Magnetic surface (such as steel desks): approximately 3 m
    * These values were obtained in ELECOM's test environment and are not guaranteed. The 2.4GHz band signal may be shorter depending on the environment you use it in.

    Please reboot the PC.

    • The mouse may become unstable depending on the PC. Please restart the PC.

    Please update your PC’s OS to the latest version.

    • The mouse may become unstable when the PC version is old. Please update your PC’s OS to the latest version.

    Please change the receiver unit connection.

    Depending on the specifications of the PC's USB port or USB hub, other USB 3.0 devices used simultaneously with the mouse may generate noise that can worsen the 2.4 GHz signal in the vicinity.

    Examples of USB devices that may degrade the 2.4 GHz band signal

    • USB memory
    • Hard disk or SSD
    • Optical disk drive
    • Card reader / writer
    • LAN adapter
    • Others, all devices communicating data with a PC via USB 3.0.

    You may be able to improve the situation with the following method.

    Connect the mouse receiver unit to another USB port away from other USB 3.0 devices that are simultaneously in use.

    Connect the mouse receiver unit to a USB 2.0 USB hub or extension cable.

  • Please restart the connected device.
    This product may become unstable depending on the condition of the connected device. Please restart the connected device once.
  • Please uninstall mouse drivers and configuration utilities other than this product for connected devices.
    If the mouse you were using before this product used the manufacturer's original driver or configuration utility, please uninstall it in advance.
    If third-party drivers are installed, this product may not work properly.
    For instructions on how to uninstall, please refer to the instruction manual for your mouse that you have been using until now.
  • Update the OS of the connected device to the latest version.
    If the OS version of the connected device is outdated, the mouse may become unstable. Please update to the latest version.
  • Please check the Windows® power saving settings on the connectivity device.
    In Windows®, in order to reduce power consumption depending on the PC, the power of the product to be connected to the USB is set to turn off automatically.
    You can change the settings in the following ways:

    (For Windows® 11)

    1) Click the "Start" button at the bottom of the screen.

    2) Click “All Apps”.

    3) Click “Windows Tools”.
    The “Windows Tools” screen will appears.

    4) Double-click "Control Panel".

    5) Click "System and Security".

    6) Click “Power Options”.

    7) Click "Change plan settings" to the right of the item selected in "Power Plan".

    8) On the "Edit Plan Settings" screen, click "Change advanced power settings".

    9) On the "Power Options" screen, click the "+" mark in "USB settings" from the list, and then click the "+" mark in "USB selective suspend settings".

    10) In the drop box next to "Setting", select "Disabled".
    If you are using a laptop, there are two items instead of "Setting": "On battery" and "Plugged in". In that case, please set the "Plugged in" setting to "Disabled".

    11) Click "OK" to confirm the settings.

    12) Click the “X” (close) in the upper right corner to close “Edit Plan Settings”.


    (For Windows® 10)

    1) Right-click the start button at the bottom left of the screen, click “Power Options”, and then click "Additional Power Settings" under "Related Settings" on the right side of the "Power & sleep" screen.

    2) Click "Change plan settings" on the right side of the item selected in "Power Plan".

    3) On the "Edit Plan Settings" screen, click "Change advanced power settings".

    4) On the "Power Options" screen, click the "+" mark in "USB settings" from the list, and then click the "+" mark in "USB selective suspend setting".

    5) In the drop box next to "Setting", select "Disabled".
    If you are using a laptop, there are two items instead of "Setting": "On battery" and "Plugged in. In that case, please set the "Plugged in" setting to "Disabled".

    6) Click "OK" to confirm the settings.

    7) Click the "X" (close) in the upper right corner to close "Edit Plan Settings".


    (For Windows® 8.1)

    1) Right-click the Start button at the bottom left of the screen, and then click “Power Options”.

    2) Click "Change plan settings" on the right side of the item selected in "Power Plan".

    3) On the "Edit Plan Settings" screen, click "Change advanced power settings".

    4) On the "Power Options" screen, click the "+" mark in "USB settings" from the list, and then click the "+" mark in "USB selective suspend setting".

    5) In the drop box next to "Settings", select "Disable".
    If you are using a laptop, there are two items instead of "Settings": "Battery Operated" and "Connect to a Power Source". In that case, please set the "Connect to a power source" setting to "Disable".

    6) Click "OK" to confirm the settings.

    7) Click the "X" (close) in the upper right corner to close "Edit Plan Settings".
