Cleaning this product
If the body of this product becomes dirty, wipe with a soft, dry cloth.

③Gaming Mode Key
Press and hold and press
to operate as gaming mode. To set Gaming mode, the ELECOM GAMING Tool (EG Tool) must be installed from our website.

④ USB Type-C port
Connect to the PC using the supplied cable.
⑤ USB-A port for device connection
You can connect the USB connector of a device such as a wireless mouse.
Connecting to a PC
1) Start up a PC.
Please wait until a PC has started up and can be operated.
2) Connect the USB Type-C connector of the charging cable supplied to the USB Type-C port of this product.
3) Connect the USB-A connector on the included charging cable to the USB-A port on your PC.
You may use any USB-A port.
To remove the keyboard
This product supports hot plugging. The keyboard may be removed while the PC is in operation.
4) The driver will be automatically installed. You will then be able to use the keyboard.
You can now use the product.
By installing the setting software "EG Tool", you can assign functions to all keys, disable them, and set the backlight/LED. Please continue to “Setting up the ELECOM GAMING Tool (EG Tool)”.
This product comes with a keycap grip tape that can be attached to the left 43 keys.
The grip tape is available with 36 for general-purpose keys and 7 for specific keys.
1) Before applying the grip tape, remove dust and dirt from the surface with the included cleaning cloth.
2) Fitting the keycap grip tape.
Once you have downloaded and installed the EG Tool from our website, you can assign or disable functions to all keys, disable them, set the backlight, and set the gaming mode.

■Installing the EG Tool
Before installing
1) Unzip the downloaded file EG_Tool_Vxxx.zip(xxx is different depending on the version) to your desktop, etc.
* Depending on your operating environment, clicking on “Open file” after download may cause it to unzip.
2) Double-click on “EG_Tool_Vxxx.exe (xxx is different depending on the version)” in the unzipped folder.
3) The installer will start up.
Click on the “Yes” button when the User Account Control window appears.
4) Click on “Next >“.
5) Click on ”Install”.
6) Click on “Finish”.
This completes the installation of the EG Tool.
* If you click “Launch EG Tool”, EG Tool will start.
■ Running the EG Tool
1) To run EG Tool for the first time, double-click the “EG Tool” icon created on the desktop.
2) The EG Tool setting screen will appear.
If you start the EG Tool without connecting the device, you will "No device detected". When the product is connected, various setting screens are displayed.
■About the EG Tool setting screen
① Profile setup
You can register the current settings as a profile. By switching between multiple profiles, you can change multiple settings at once.

② Menu button
Click on the menu button and select “Check for updates” to check the EG Tool version information.
③ Key setting section
Select the button and set the function assignment, disable, etc.
*For details, please refer to ”Setting the function of the buttons".
④ Gaming mode setting section
Set the type of gaming mode that operates when a key is pressed on the product.
*For details, please refer to ”Set Gaming mode”.
⑤ Lighting setting
When the lighting function of this product is turned on, the color of the backlight, the lighting speed, the lighting method, etc. are set. ON/OFF of the lighting function is performed with the key registered in the key setting section.

⑥ Maintenance section
Performs a firmware update.

■ Setting the function of the buttons
To set the function of a key, click the key you want to set and choose the function you want to set from the pull-down menu.
Some functions allow you to select functions in the lower layers or set items.
When you click ”Clear All”, all the settings in the key setting section are cleared.
● Media
Set the selected button to a multimedia action.
Select “Media” and select one of the actions listed.
“Play/Pause”
Plays the media player. Pressing it while the media is playing will pause it.
“Previous track”
Go back to the previous track/capture/file in the media player. *
“Next track”
Go to the next track/capture/file in the media player. *
“Volume up”
Increase Windows® system volume.
“Volume down”
Decrease Windows® system volume.
“Mute”
This key mutes audio output for the entire system.
Audio unmutes when it is pressed again.
* It may not work depending on the media player you use.
● Keyboard
Set the keyboard operation for the selected button.
1) Select ”Keyboard” and press the key of the function you want to combine.
For example, if you click a key, select ”Keyboard”, and press the Ctrl key of this product, the following will be displayed.
If you are unable to type from this product, click the software keyboard icon to the right of the input field.
When the Windows on-screen keyboard appears, click the key you want to type.
2) Click on ”OK”.
The setting screen of the selected button switches to the display of the set function.
● Gaming Mode ON / OFF
Set the gaming mode ON/OFF function registered in the key of this product to the selected key.
After setting, the display of the key switches to .
● Fn key
Set the selected key to the Fn key.
After setting, the display of the key switches to .
● Lighting ON / OFF
Set the selected key to the lighting ON/OFF key of this product.
After setting, the display of the key switches to .
● Change lighting
When the lighting function is ON, set the selected key to the lighting mode change key.

● Disabled
Disables the selected button.

● Restore default settings
Restore the selected button to factory settings.
■ Set Gaming mode
Select the key operations to disable while gaming mode is enabled.
The item you click is checked and disabled.
* To cancel the setting, click again.
■ Setting up lighting
When the lighting function of this product is turned on, the color of the backlight, the lighting speed, the lighting method, etc. are set.
● Choosing lighting effects
Select the lighting effect you want to set from the pull-down menu.
”Wave”
The lighting part moves with colorful colors like waves.
”Drift”
Repeat the movement of the flashing part from the center to both ends and from both ends to the center with colorful colors.
”Breathing (rainbow)”
Lights up in a colorful manner.
”Breathing (static)”
Lights up with *the specified color.
“Static”
Lights up with the specified color.
“Custom area”
The specified area is lit with the specified color*.
The lighting area is specified by clicking or dragging a key on the setting screen.
”Fade”
The pressed key fades in and fades out with the specified color*.
”Laser”
It lights up colorfully like a laser around the pressed key.
”Off”
Turn off the backlight.
* To specify a color
1) Click the color display part of each setting screen.
2) Click the button of the color you want to set.
The configuration history shows the colors you have set in the past.
* To cancel the setting, click ”CANCEL”.
3) If there is no color you want to set on the setting screen, click ”DETAILS”.
The advanced setting screen will appear.
① Drag the pointer on the slide bar and choose a color tone.
② Check the density in the display area and click the optimal color position. (You can click as many times as you like)
③ Click ”APPLY”.
The applied color will be reflected in the color display part of step 1.
* To cancel the setting, click ”CANCEL”.
● Set the operating speed
Drag the pointer on the slide bar to set the speed of the lighting effect that you set.
● ”Enables lighting over a USB connection even without a data connection.” Checkbox
Check the box to turn on the lights when connected to a charging USB port or USB hub to shut down or put your PC in sleep mode.
If the lighting turns on unintentionally even if the PC shuts down or it goes to sleep mode, please uncheck it.
■ Setting up a profile
You can register the current settings as a profile. By switching between multiple profiles, you can change multiple settings at once.
● Creating a profile
Saving the current settings with a name.
1) Click in the Profile Settings section.
2) Enter a profile name and click ”CREATE”.
3) The newly created profile name is displayed in the profile settings section.
● Switching between profiles
By switching between profiles, you can change the settings together.
1) Click the name of the profile you want to set.
2) After “Applying settings” is displayed, it will switch to the selected profile.
● Change the profile name
Changes the name of the currently displayed profile.
1) Click on the profile name you want to change and select "Rename".
2) Input the name of the profile and click on the “OK” button.
● Delete a profile
Selects the profile you want to delete and delete it.
1) Click on the name of the profile you want to delete and select "Delete".
2) Click ”DELETE” on the confirmation screen.
● Revert the settings
Restore the product to its factory settings. All profile settings are erased.
1) Click in the Profile Settings section.
2) Click ”RESTORE TO DEFAULT” on the confirmation screen.
■ Update the firmware
Updates the product firmware to the latest version.
1) Click ”Update” in the maintenance section
2) Click on the ”Yes” button when the “User Account Control” window appears.
3) Click ”START UPDATE ” on the update screen.
4) On the update completion screen, click ”Finish”.

4) Set the spacebar facing down, tilt the keyboard diagonally (30~45 degrees), leave it for at least 24 hours, and let it dry.
